- Visita alla Riserva Naturale di Monterufeno.
Nel primo tratto il percorso attraversa l’area protetta e consente di ammirare la ricchezza forestale e vegetazionale di questo territorio. L’itinerario costeggia le pendici di Monte Rufeno, dalla cui sommità può essere ammirato un panorama estremamente suggestivo.
- Visita alla cittadina di Proceno.

Scendendo da Castro, verso la via cava, occorre prestare molta attenzione nel guadare il fiume Olpeta. Caratteristica di tutta questa zona è una serie di abitati rupestri, costituiti da grotte scavate nel tufo, utilizzate nel periodo Medioevale.
